A skill is a folder with a SKILL.md: frontmatter (name + a one-line description the agent uses to decide relevance) followed by the instructions themselves. No registration — presence under Skills/ is the whole contract.

Use this shape to teach the workspace’s AI agents a repeatable task — a review checklist, a deploy procedure, a house style. In Cowork: Create → Skill.

This template is built into Cowork Studio's Create dialog. Open Manage Workspace, pick the matching tab, click its Add button and choose Skill — name it, and the files land in your workspace ready to edit.
