An app with no persistent UI: registered under `apps` with `open: "dialog"`, so opening it renders the engine’s modal sheet over the workbench.
Use this shape for capture flows and focused dialogs — anything where the whole interaction is "give me one input from anywhere and get out of the way". In Cowork: Create → App → Modal app.
Create it
This template is built into Cowork Studio's Create dialog. Open Manage Workspace, pick the matching tab, click its Add button and choose Modal app — name it, and the files land in your workspace ready to edit.
