What we collect
Cowork runs locally on your machine. The desktop app does not phone home for the work it does. The only data we receive is the minimum we need to keep the marketplace, account, and update channel working — typically your email and the version you are on.
What stays on your device
Every file, folder, connector token, and LLM API key you give Cowork access to stays
local. Workflow runs happen on your computer. Logs of those runs stay in your home
directory under ~/.cowork/logs.
What we share
Nothing about your jobs, your files, or your prompts. When Cowork checks for updates or installs a workflow from the marketplace, your IP shows up in our update logs for a few weeks then gets purged.
Your controls
Delete your account from our contact form. Revoke connectors any time from Settings → Permissions. The desktop app keeps working offline with no account at all if you prefer.
