Usage policy

Use Cowork to

• Automate your own recurring work and your team's shared rituals
• Process files, emails, and data you have a right to handle
• Build, share, and install workflows in the marketplace

Don't use Cowork to

• Run workflows on data you do not have permission to access
• Generate or distribute content that defames, harasses, or impersonates someone
• Build automation that scrapes or attacks third-party systems against their terms
• Circumvent rate limits or terms of the LLM provider you have wired in
• Run a service that resells Cowork output as if it were your own product

Marketplace

Workflows published to the marketplace are reviewed before they go live. We remove anything that violates this policy. Report a workflow with the flag button on its marketplace page or to abuse@cowork.local.

Enforcement

We warn first, suspend second, terminate third. For severe violations we may skip ahead. Appeals: write to appeals@cowork.local within 14 days.
